Pharmacy context
Lloydspharmacy is a high street pharmacy located in an affluent suburb of Cardiff. NHS dispensing is the main activity and the pharmacy typically dispenses around 8,000 items per month, including medicines supplied in monitored dosage system (MDS) trays for approximately 90 patients. The pharmacy provides advanced services (MURs and DMRs) and an enhanced supervised consumption service. It also provides a private seasonal influenza vaccination services against a patient group direction (PGD).
A collection and delivery service is offered to all patients and the pharmacy provides blood pressure measurement on request. It has six substance misuse clients.
