Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located in the centre of the village of Thorney. Its main activities are dispensing NHS prescriptions and providing other NHS services including the Pharmacy First service, the Hypertension Case-finding service, and seasonal flu vaccinations. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people to help them take their medicines at the right time. It is open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and closes between 1pm and 2pm for lunch.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion.
