Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 08/04/2026
Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in a parade of shops. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions. Other services that the pharmacy offers include the Pharmacy First service, contraception service, needle exchange, weight clinic and travel clinic. It also supplies multi-compartment compliance packs for people in the community who need this additional support and to sheltered care homes. And it provides a supervised administration service for certain medicines. This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in March 2026, where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.7 and 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy provided evidence that it has stored bagged medicines awaiting collection next to the consultation room in canvas boxes to ensure confidentiality is maintained. It has also provided evidence that its medicines requiring cold storage are now kept at the appropriate temperatures.
