Pharmacy context

The pharmacy is located within an industrial unit on the outskirts of Chelmsford and specialise in the provision of dispensing to the mental health trust in Essex covering a wide geographical area from Harwich to Loughton.
The pharmacy operate as a hospital pharmacy under the North Essex Partnership and supply occasional private prescriptions. The pharmacy is closed to the public and deliver medicines directly to hospital wards in the trust. The pharmacy dispense around 600 items a month into MDS trays. There was some uncertainty about the registrable activities in the pharmacy and these were thought to be primarily related to the supply of private prescriptions. The pharmacy dispense a large proportion of clozapine under their Trust Activity.
