Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 22/01/2025
Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy next to a GP surgery in a largely residential area in Canterbury city centre. It provides NHS services such as the Pharmacy First service and the New Medicine Service. And it provides chlamydia treatment and contraception using patient group directions. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to a small number of people who need this support. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes. It also provides supervised administration of certain medicines.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2015 and all standards were met.
