Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in the popular coastal village of Anstruther. It dispenses NHS prescriptions including supplying medicines to people in multi-compartment compliance packs. And it supplies medicines to care homes. The pharmacy provides a delivery service locally and to out-lying areas. The pharmacy team advises on minor ailments and medicines use. The pharmacy also offers the NHS Pharmacy First Plus service, flu vaccination, travel vaccination and advice, and ear wax removal.
This was the first inspection of the pharmacy since it expanded from its existing premises in in April 2023
