Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy in southeast London. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. And it supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people who need help remembering to take their medicines at the right times. The pharmacy offers the Covid-19 vaccine service and provides the Pharmacy First service.

This was a reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in June 2025 where the pharmacy was found to be not meeting standards 1.7, 2.2 and 4.3, but was meeting the other standards. This reinspection focused on those standards which had previously not been met. Following the last inspection, the pharmacy had reviewed the storage of medicines awaiting collection and introduced data loggers for the pharmaceutical fridges. The pharmacy previously had some team members who were working in the dispensary and were not registered on accredited training courses. They had since been enrolled on the courses and were being given time at work to complete them.
