Pharmacy context

This is a pharmacy situated in a parade of shops and is part of a small chain of pharmacies located mostly in North London. In addition to dispensing prescriptions, it provides a range of NHS services including the New Medicines Service, the Hypertension case finding service, the Pharmacy First service, the minor ailments service, the contraception service, the discharge medicine service and flu and COVID vaccinations. It also offers a travel clinic and a low volume weight loss clinic via patient group directions. It supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to a number of people to help them take their medicines safely and delivers medicines to some people.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in January 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.3. This reinspection focused on that Standard which had previously not been met. Following the previous inspection, the pharmacy replaced the fridge thermometers and began recording the fridge temperatures on an almost daily basis.
