Pharmacy context
This is a health centre pharmacy in a suburban area of Rochdale. It mainly serves the local population. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescription medicines, and a large number of people receive their medicines in weekly multi-compartment compliance packs to help make sure they take them safely. The pharmacy also provides the NHS hypertension service, New Medicine Service (NMS) and the NHS Pharmacy First Service.
This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in March 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.3. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection the pharmacy had started monitoring and recording the fridge temperatures consistently and the branch had been sent a temperature data logger.
