Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is situated in a closed unit and is the centralised dispensing location (hub pharmacy) for the company's other branches (spoke pharmacies). The pharmacy has an NHS contract as part of which it also supplies medicines directly to patients using a third-party courier service. The main business is the assembly of multi-compartment compliance packs and original pack dispensing for other pharmacies within the same company. The pharmacy has a website, https://www.treatdiscreet.co.uk/ where people can access its pharmacist led prescribing service. It also sells a range of Pharmacy only (P) medicines via the website. The website offers prescription only medicines (POM) for a number of conditions, including weight loss and asthma.
This was a full routine inspection of the pharmacy. The pharmacy was last inspected in February 2016.

What do the inspection outcomes mean?
After an inspection each pharmacy receives one overall outcome. This will be either Standards met or Standards not all met
The pharmacy has met all the standards for registered pharmacies | |
The pharmacy has not met one or more of the standards for registered pharmacies |
What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?
When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
