Last inspection: 27/02/2026

Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy located next door to a medical practice in Dalmarnock, Glasgow. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. And it provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people take their medicines properly. The pharmacy offers a delivery service and team members provide advice on minor ailments and medicines' use. The pharmacist is a prescriber and provides medicines for common clinical conditions under the NHS Pharmacy First Plus service. This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in January 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 2.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy has updated all standard operating procedures to reflect current working practices. And it now has procedures that cover all of the services the pharmacy provides. Team members have been enrolled on the appropriate accredited training for their role.
