Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is located within Calderdale Hospital and is open 08.30 to 19.00 Monday to Friday and 09.00 to 14.00 Saturday.
The team currently dispense approximately 6000 hospital outpatient items per month. The pharmacy does not have an NHS dispensing contract.
Services are provided to a varied patient group from all departments within the hospital.
The responsible pharmacist present was the newly appointed regular pharmacist and had been in position for two weeks.
