Inspection outcome: Standards met
Last inspection: 14/09/2026
Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes
Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy on a parade of shops in a largely residential area of Canvey Island. It provides NHS services such as the New Medicine Service, the Pharmacy First service and the Hypertension Case Finding service. It provides flu, COVID and RSV vaccinations, period delay and weight loss services using patient group directions. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes. This was a reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in July 2026 where the pharmacy was found to be not meeting standard 1.7 but was meeting the other standards. This reinspection focused on the standard which had previously not been met. Following the last inspection, the pharmacy has installed barriers and privacy screens to ensure that patient information is now protected. And team members now only use their own NHS smartcards.
