Pharmacy context

This is a busy Boots community pharmacy located in a shopping complex serving a mostly mixed population based in Bournemouth.

The pharmacy dispenses around 10,000 prescription items in a typical month. As well as the NHS essential services they provide medicines use reviews (MURs), new medicines service (NMS), private prescription dispensing, emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) via patient group direction (PGD), an urgent repeat medicine service, a mole screening service, a travel clinic service including malaria prophylaxis on PGD and travel vaccinations, meningitis and pneumonia vaccinations, a smoking cessation service, supervised consumption, monitored dosage system (MDS) dispensing patients and a prescription collection and delivery service.

The pharmacy opens from 9:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 7:00pm on Saturday and from 10:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday.
