Pharmacy context
This is a pharmacy located in a shopping centre in the city of Aberdeen. Its main service is dispensing NHS prescriptions. The pharmacy provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people to help them take their medicines at the right times. And it provides medicines to people living in care homes. Team members provide advice on minor ailments and medicines use. And the pharmacy provides a private influenza and travel vaccination service.
This was a routine inspection which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all Standards were inspection on this occasion. The last inspection of the pharmacy was in April 2015.
