Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is amongst a parade of shops on a busy road in a suburb of Sheffield. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions and provides NHS services such as Pharmacy First and the hypertension case finding service. It delivers to many people and provides some people with their medication in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medication correctly. The pharmacy also provides private services including, travel vaccines, a weight loss service and ear wax removal. The pharmacy has an automated prescription collection point that allows people to collect their medication 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in December 2023.
