Pharmacy context
This is a large pharmacy, opposite a shopping centre on the main road which runs through Fratton, a residential area near Portsmouth city centre. It dispenses people’s prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and offers healthcare advice. It provides services to people who use drugs. The pharmacy also supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs for people who might otherwise struggle to manage their medicines.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in November 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.6. This reinspection focused on that Standard which had previously not been met. The pharmacy has since provided evidence to show that it is now keeping its records the way it should be.
