The pharmacy does not keep an accurate record, as it should, of when the responsible pharmacist is, and is not, on the premises. This means people won't know who was responsible for the safe and effective running of the registered pharmacy when it is operational.

The pharmacy has a responsible pharmacist SOP which has been signed by pharmacists working. This entails signing in and out of as responsible pharmacist when entering and leaving the premises
This record is entered and kept through our pharmacy system, Proscript. Staff members are aware of what they are allowed to do when the pharmacist is not on premises meaning they are allowed to sell GSL lines and take in prescriptions, but they cannot hand out POMS or sell P lines.
