The pharmacy relies heavily on people completing questionnaires without undertaking any independent verification check of their medical history, meaning prescribers make clinical decisions without confirming the accuracy or completeness of the information provided. This creates a significant risk that medicines may be supplied inappropriately or unsafely. The pharmacy also fails to demonstrate that it has effective systems to identify when a condition is not suitable for remote treatment. Some conditions offered through the service require physical examination, diagnostic testing, or in person assessment to ensure safe prescribing.

As mentioned over email previously, all aspects of the operations, prescribing and dispensing in relation to Aesthiclinic website (all aspects mentioned in the report) has been stopped, with no view to restart this. I can confirm in writing that we have already requested the removed the website, and everything else related to it, and no further orders/prescriptions will be generated or dispensed at all in relation to this. Only aspects which have been inspected previously and found to be meting all standards will be continuing going forward.

As a result, the pharmacy cannot demonstrate that it has considered the specific risks linked to remote prescribing, the appropriateness of treatments supplied, or the safeguards required to protect patients.
