The pharmacy’s controlled drug registers are inaccurate, and responsible pharmacist records are incomplete. So the pharmacy is not able to show it is keeping the records it needs to, in order to operate safely and effectively.

A thorough review of each CD incomings and outgoings will be undertaken imminently to identify and rectify discrepancies. Further to this, a weekly CD balance check will be undertaken by the pharmacist and all CDs will be entered promptly.
Reminders will be set on Proscript to prompt the pharmacist/ staff to sign the pharmacist in and out daily. Head office maintain attendance registers for reference; these can be used to fill out previous gaps in RP records.
