All Schedule 2 products (namely CBPM products) now have dedicated Controlled Drug registers. All incoming and outgoing supplies will be recorded as per the regular procedure for Sch2 controlled drugs. A full balance check was carried out the days following the inspection and moving forward will be carried out monthly for all items and 2 weekly for higher dispensing volume products (e.g. Oxycodone). |

All Safe Custody Controlled Drugs will only be dispensed at the point of patient collection or delivery. Prescription labels ONLY (no stock) will be affixed to the prescription bag until this point. All controlled drugs will only be removed from the Cd cabinet at this point and never stored for any prolonged period of time outside of the Cd cabinet. |
