The pharmacy cannot always demonstrate that it stores and manages all of its medicines appropriately. It does not have a robust date checking system in operation and it does not regularly monitor refrigerators used to store medicines.

Staff to review date checking procedures and adhere to Company date checking and cleaning schedules, which ensures that the whole of the dispensary is checked over a 3 month period. Confirmation of checks to be recorded by pharmacy staff and monitored by Area Manager and Pharmacy Superintendent.
Staff to review procedures on fridge temperature monitoring. Daily temperatures to be taken of pharmacy refrigerators and recorded on PMR system.
