We have informed staff to clear the floors of any stock or totes during a team briefing. We have taken the inspectors advice and will now clear the prescription retrieval every month. This will increase the space in the pharmacy for extra shelving to keep dispensed items safely. Furthermore, we have come to an agreement to train one of the dispensers as a checker. Although this will not be immediate, it will have the long-term benefit of ensuring prescriptions are checked and cleared much quicker, increasing the space on the dispensing bench. |
