Some of the staff have not been enrolled onto the training course appropriate for their role. So they do not meet the GPhC’s policy on the minimum training requirements for pharmacy support staff.

The affected Staff have now been enrolled for Buttercups Dispensing Assistants Training course.
The enrolment date was 5th June 2019 and the training course enrolment letters are attached as evidence.

Medicines are stored inside unsealed multicompartment compliance aids for some time. This is a potential risk regarding the stability of these medicines.

Medicines are not always stored in line with safe custody requirements.

Medicines are now sealed immediately after placement inside multicompartment
compliance aids. This approach started on the 20th May 2019.

With effect from 20th May, medicines are now stored in line with safe custody requirements.
