The Regional Healthcare Manager completed a post inspection visit on the 5th June 2019 to review team member levels and support required. On the day of the inspection the team were covering staff absence, and we can confirm that as of the 6th June 2019 they are back up to full skill mix. The pharmacy has been running with locum pharmacists since December 2018, so as a priority the Regional Manager will be looking to employ a full-time pharmacist. |

The Regional Healthcare Manager completed a post inspection visit on the 5th June 2019 to review workflow in the pharmacy and support required. Dispensing using the ‘pull- out steps’ has ceased immediately, and team briefed on how this could impact on the risks in the pharmacy which they now understand. The Regional Manager has mapped out a new workflow with the team in the pharmacy so the space they have is used more effectively, this involves some movement of hardware so will be undertaken over a period of time to ensure business continuity. Extra storage outside of the pharmacy is being acquired so sundries can be stored outside of the dispensing area, feeing up more space in the pharmacy. |
