There will be no obliteration in the CD register (alterations will be made by footnote) and any amendments made will have an audit trail to show when they have been made and who is responsible for making them. This requirement has been discussed with my dispensing staff and regular locum pharmacists who routinely complete the CD registers. We intend to complete and record regular running balance checks for all CDs on a bi-monthly basis. |
