The pharmacy does not always enrol its team members in a timely manner on qualification training appropriate for their role.

The team member will be redeployed to the role where they have full training and certification.

Moving forward, the company will amend their policy on training enrolment. Until now, appropriate training courses would have been commenced following successful completion of a three-month probationary period. However, as of 1st Jan 2024 all new employees will be enrolled on an appropriate training course for their role, as part of their induction, meaning that in their first days with the company they will be familiar with SOP’s, shadowing experienced staff and signed up to a training course offered by a recognised provider.
