Pharmacy context
This is an independently-owned community pharmacy on Acton High Street. The pharmacy offers a range of services including dispensing prescriptions and selling a range of health and pharmacy related products. The pharmacy also provides the NHS Pharmacy First service and the NHS hypertension Case Finding service. It also offers a Flu vaccination service. And intends to launch a weight loss service and a travel vaccination service soon.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2016.
