Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is situated on a busy high road in Ilford. It dispenses both private and NHS prescriptions and offers a range of services via Patient Group Directions (PGDs). The pharmacy provides the New Medicines Service (NMS), the Pharmacy First service, the Hypertension Case Finding service, supervised consumption and the contraception service. It also offers travel vaccinations, a weight loss service and a period delay service. And it prepares medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs for those who require it.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 3.1. This reinspection focused on that Standard which had previously not been met. Since the previous inspection, the pharmacy cleared the access to the fire exit.
