Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is in a residential suburb of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. It offers NHS essential services to people at a distance through its website yourpharmacy.co.uk. It provides NHS consultation services including Pharmacy First. And it is part of the NHS Community Pharmacy Independent Prescribing Pathfinder Programme. The pharmacy supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs, designed to help people to take their medicines. It delivers medicines to people through its own delivery service and through national postage and courier services. People access the pharmacy premises to physically purchase medicines and to attend the pharmacy’s private consultation clinic covering a number of conditions including skin problems, weight loss, women’s health, men’s health, aesthetic treatments, vitamin B12 injections and ear wax removal. The pharmacy also offers its prescribing services at a distance through its website to people residing in the UK.
This was a desktop
inspection following a reinspection in August 2025 where the pharmacy did not
meet Standard 1.6. This reinspection focused on the standard which had
previously not been met. The pharmacy’s prescriber has refreshed their learning
to support them in documenting the discussions they have when holding private
consultations with people, and the reasons for their prescribing decisions. And
the pharmacy is maintaining these records to support it in providing its
prescribing services safely.
