Pharmacy context

This pharmacy is situated in a rural village near Ammanford. It sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines and dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. The pharmacy offers a range of services including provision of emergency hormonal contraception, treatment for minor ailments and a seasonal influenza vaccination service. This was a reinspection following an inspection in November 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 2.1. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy provided assurances and evidence of improvements, including: Standard 1.1: A copy of a risk assessment and standard operating procedure relating to the pharmacy’s weight management service. Assurances that a travel vaccination service is no longer provided. Assurances that all team members have read and signed SOPs relevant to their role. Standard 2.1: Evidence that all teams members are appropriately trained or have been enrolled on an appropriate training course
