Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is in a small shopping precinct in a mainly residential area on the outskirts of Banbury. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions, provides health advice and sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people who find it difficult to take their medicines at the correct time. It provides other services which include delivery, supplying medicines for people who misuse drugs, Pharmacy First, New Medicines Service (NMS), Discharge Medicines Service (DMS), oral contraception, seasonal flu vaccinations, (private and NHS) and monitors people’s blood pressure.
This was a full routine inspection of the pharmacy. The pharmacy was last inspected in August 2016.
