Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is on a parade of shops in the Fearnhead area of Warrington. It mainly dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medicines. It provides NHS services such as New Medicine Service and Pharmacy First Service. And it provides private services such as a face-to-face weight loss service. For some people, the pharmacy dispenses medicines into multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicines at the right times. And it delivers medicines to people at home. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in January 2016.
