Pharmacy context
A health centre pharmacy located next to a GP surgery open from 9:00 am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
NHS dispensing is the main activity and the pharmacy dispenses around 12, 000 prescription items a month. Other services include medicines use reviews (MURs), new medicines service (NMS), private prescription dispensing, emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) service, a smoking cessation service, a flu vaccination service (seasonal), monitored dosage system (MDS) dispensing for around 40 domiciliary patients and a prescription collection and delivery service.

After an inspection each pharmacy receives one overall outcome. This will be either Standards met or Standards not all met

What do the summary findings for each principle mean?
The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:

| The pharmacy delivers positive outcomes for patients and performs well against most of the standards | |
| The pharmacy meets all the standards | |
