Pharmacy context
This is a pharmacy situated in a parade of shops in a residential area. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. Other services that the pharmacy offers include the NHS Pharmacy First service, Hypertension Case Findings service, free contraception, flu and covid vaccination service and private travel clinic. It also supplies multi-compartment compliance packs for people in the community who need this additional support and can arrange deliveries of medications to people in the community. This was an intelligence-led inspection of the pharmacy following information received by the GPhC. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in March 2019.
