Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy located along a busy high street in the centre of Brentwood in Essex. The pharmacy dispenses both NHS and private prescriptions. It also provides the Pharmacy First Service, The New Medicines Service (NMS), the Hypertension Case Finding service and flu vaccinations. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support to manage their medicines at home and it delivers medicines to people's homes and care homes.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.1. This reinspection focused on this Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has stopped offering the prescribing services provided by the third party on their website.
