Pharmacy context
This busy community pharmacy is located within a supermarket on the outskirts of March. Its main activities are dispensing NHS prescriptions and providing other NHS services including the Pharmacy First service, the Hypertension Case-finding service, and seasonal flu vaccinations. It is open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion.
