Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located within a Tesco supermarket in Southwark, London. It provides a variety of services including dispensing NHS and private prescriptions, flu vaccinations, the Pharmacy First service, blood pressure monitoring and the NHS contraception service. It also provides weight loss, chickenpox and a Covid vaccine service under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was previously inspected in January 2016.
