Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is located within a Tesco supermarket in the town of Thetford in Norfolk Essex. It provides a variety of services including sales of over the counter (OTC) and Pharmacy only (P) medicines, dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions and the Pharmacy First services under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). It also provides medicines in multicompartment compliance packs to a small number of people who need additional support taking their medicines.

This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was previously inspected in February 2016.
