Pharmacy context
A Tesco pharmacy located in a large supermarket. The pharmacy serves a varied local population from Ferndown in Dorset.
The pharmacy dispenses around 5,000 items a month and as well as the NHS Essential Services, they provide MURs, NMS, EHC via an NHS PGD, influenza vaccinations, erectile dysfunction treatment and malaria prophylaxis. They also test blood pressure, cholesterol and screen for diabetes.
The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, on Saturday from 8am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
