Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is on a main road in the centre of Sutton near Ely. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions, most of which are issued by the GP practice located opposite the pharmacy. It also provides the NHS Pharmacy First service, New Medicine Service checks, seasonal flu vaccinations, and blood pressure checks. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to a small number of people who need this support to take their medicines at the right time. It also delivers medicines to some people at home.

This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the Standards which most relate to patient safety. Not all Standards were inspected on this visit. The pharmacy was last inspected in 2017.
