Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is situated alongside other retail businesses in the centre of Warsop, Nottinghamshire. The pharmacy’s main activities are dispensing NHS prescriptions and selling medicines. It also provides NHS consultation services including Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, contraception services, and the New Medicine Service (NMS). It provides seasonal flu and COVID vaccinations to people. And it offers a private travel health and weight management service. The pharmacy supplies some medicines in a pouch system, designed to help people remember to take their medicines. It dispenses medicines to people living in a local care home. And it offers a medicine delivery service.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in February 2016.
