Pharmacy context
This is a busy Rowlands pharmacy located on the high street in the town of Christchurch. The pharmacy serves the local population which is mixed in age range and background.
The pharmacy dispenses between 16,000 and 17,000 items a month. As well as the NHS essential services they provide medicines use reviews (MURs), new medicines service (NMS), private prescription dispensing, a supervised consumption service, a smoking cessation service, emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) via patient group direction (PGD), a flu vaccination service via PGD and privately and a prescription collection and delivery service.
The pharmacy is open from 8.45am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 1pm on Saturday and is closed on Sundays.
