Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is situated in the centre of Roade. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions, some of which it delivers to people's homes. It also sells medicines over the counter and offers a range of services including the NHS Pharmacy First service, NHS Contraception service and seasonal flu vaccinations. It provides a private weight management service. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support to help them take their medicines at the right time. This was a reinspection following an inspection in March 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.6. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy now has complete and accurate records for its medicines that require safe storage. And it completes weekly balance checks on these medicines. The private weight management service is provided under an up-to-date patient group direction (PGD). The pharmacy maintains appropriate records of these consultations on an electronic platform. And information is now shared with peoples regular prescriber when consent has been given.
