Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is located next to a Sainsbury Superstore in Stevenage. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy offers some NHS services such as Pharmacy First and a seasonal flu vaccination service. It supplies medicines to some people in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicines safely. And it provides a prescription delivery service to people in the local area who cannot get to the pharmacy.

This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in January 2016.
