Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located on a high street in Finchley, London. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy provides some NHS services such as Pharmacy First and a substance misuse service. It also offers some private services via patient group directions, such as a weight management service and period delay service. The pharmacy also supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some individuals and to some care homes.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in June 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 4.2 and 4.3. This reinspection focused on those standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has reviewed its standard operating procedures (SOPs) and team members have read the SOPs relevant to their roles. The pharmacy now has in-date, signed patient group directions for the private services it offers. And temperatures are recorded for all fridges used for storing medicines requiring cold-storage.
