Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy located on a busy main road in Acocks Green. The pharmacy is open extended hours over seven days. It dispenses NHS prescriptions, private prescriptions and sells over‐the‐counter medicines. It also provides a range of services including NHS Pharmacy First, the NHS blood pressure testing service and a private weight management service. This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in March 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 3.1. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has removed all cardboard and black‑bag waste from the stock rooms and passageways, and has reviewed its waste‑management arrangements.
