Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is in a parade of shops on the main shopping street in the Lincolnshire coastal town of Sutton-on-Sea. Its main services include dispensing NHS prescriptions, selling over-the-counter medicines and providing health advice to people. It provides NHS consultation services including the Pharmacy First service, blood pressure checks, Pharmacy Contraception Service, and the New Medicine Service. The pharmacy also provides some private vaccination and consultation services for a range of conditions including weight management and travel health. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in June 2016.
