Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is near a large medical centre close to Wakefield city centre. The pharmacy’s main activities are dispensing NHS prescriptions and selling over-the-counter medicines. It provides other NHS services including Pharmacy First, Hypertension Case Finding and COVID vaccination. It also provides private services including ear wax removal and a face-to-face weight loss service.
This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it was registered in November 2024.
