Pharmacy context
This is a pharmacy located next to a medical centre in Shirley, Southampton. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions, sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines and provides health advice. The pharmacy also provides the Pharmacy First Service, blood pressure service, New Medicines Service (NMS) and a delivery service.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in July 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.1. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. In this inspection, the pharmacy was found to have kept their Responsible Pharmacist records up to date, the Standard Operating Procedures were present and updated and the mistakes in the pharmacy were being recorded regularly and reviewed.
